Dawn, I am not sure if you want to send overseas (or if the publisher will let you), but if you do, please enter me for the drawing. I love books that span centuries and generations and I have a weak spot for books by Jewish authors.

Besides, August 1 happens to be my birthday! ;-)

To All - thanks for entering (and tell your friends, and keep them coming!). I have three new copies of *The Genizah at the House of Shepher* to share; deadline for entry is Thursday 7/31, winners announced on Friday 8/1

Ti - yes, I posted a note back to you about this. I hope to have my review of *The Septembers of Shiraz* up by tomorrow. I've needed several days to let the novel "settle" and take in the comments from other readers.

Thanks for the great contest! I love multi-generational sagas so that's my real interest in the this book. It's fascinating to me how themes can run through families from generation to generation.

Hi,

I saw your post on Shiraz at Everyday I Write the Book and wanted to comment on it. Of course... then I saw this giveaway and had to toss my hat in. Please include me in the giveaway!

Now, for Septembers ofShiraz. You noted the passage on Parviz and his comment about Rachel. I did noticed that passage as well and actually re-read it several times. As you said, the Amins were not religious, but in times of crisis, many people turn to God in some form. Just like Isaac and how he counted how many times a pair of feet walked by his window. Even was a good day, odd..not so great. It was his way of admitting that there was a higher power.

Please do enter me! I love the idea of a cross generational novel, not to mention the setting of Jerusalem. I have been interested in this particular part of the world for some time now and am always looking to read more about it. I posted about the giveaway on my blog. You can find ithere.
