Ti - that's exactly why I do it - it gives me a structure to work around; maybe I should host a "The Week Ahead" post for the masses ... any interest?

I love that you post your week ahead of time. If I posted my week ahead of time, perhaps I would stick to my calendar!

Julie - I hope to get my review posted today. *The Septembers of Shiraz* needed time to "settle" in me before I could write the review; outstanding novel. Enjoy the beach!

Kelly - it's not so much being organized as now I feel accountable to do the things I've posted publicly! I left out all the family stuff - swim lessons, blueberry picking, cookout at friends, sleepover party ... that would feel overwhelming :)

Alea - I just learned that we'll have to get wristbands earlier in the day in order to get into the store at 9. I'm disappointed because it's a bit of a drive to get to the store and I don't want to have to do it twice in one day. I may find another store that doesn't have this set-up; we'll do it somehow, my daughter is so excited!

Susan - yes, the *Septembers of Shiraz* discussion is going well, isn't it. You'll enjoy *The Lace Reader*, especially if you're familiar with the area (not necessary, but it's a nice bonus!). I get my books from a variety of sources and recommendations, my list keeps growing!

Karen - I've been seeing your bottle quite a bit lately, that's great for you .... celebrate!

Thanks for stopping by to congratulate me. I love being able to post that bottle of champagne -- it's the next best thing to going to a pub to celebrate. (I once got a hit for one of my Pub Day's from Dublin -- I hope they weren't too disappointed.)

I've added Lace Reader to my shopping list -- it sounds wonderful. Good luck getting through your busy week!

I will be posting on September of Shivaz today at everydayiwritethebook too. Did you leave your comment.
I posted on my blog what I thought but I have to edit some of it because I was in a rush to podt something.
I have the book Genizah of the house of Sepher that I recieved from the publisher too. How do you get books? Do you write to the publisher or author to promise to post a review? or do you recieve them from book blog giveaways?
When I get to it I will let you know what I think of it.
I recieved Lace Reader it is on my pile of books to read.
I have always like to read books that take place in New England. There is something about New England that gives me a warm feeling. I did live in Mass. for awhile maybe that is it. Or it is the familar history that surrounds us.

You're so much more organized than me! It seems whenever I plan my week that far in advance, something interferes and I never quite get everything done. I guess my week looks like:
Monday: Catch up a bit around here, take youngest daughter to swim party and stay to try to get to know the other moms (because after 28 years of raising children, I'm finally a *gulp*Cheer Mom.....oh sheesh....) , tailor in her uniform top, make a run to Home Depot, grocery shop, pick up a motorcycle for hubby.

Tuesday: Start second coat of paint on patio cover/deck. Head to the DMV, play catch up with whatever was unfinished Monday.

Wed: Ah, the heck with it, I'm so far behind from Monday, I'll curl up and read my book! ;o)

I love this post -- your agenda for the week! I haven't really thought about it much yet, but I did participate in THE SEPTEMBERS OF SHIRAZ on-line book discussion at Everyday I Write the Book Blog -- I loved this book!

Tuesday, I head to Jersey shore for a few days of relaxation - haha! I'm planning on getting lots of reading done, but you know how family vacations get in the way of book reading (just kidding!)

Thursday, my contest for a copy of STONE CREEK ends, so sign up soon!(http://bookingmama.blogspot.com/2008/07/review-stone-creek-and-giveaway.html)

That's about it for now!
