Teaser Tuesdays: November 11, 2008

TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:

  • Grab your current read.
  • Let the book fall open to a random page.
  • Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!

It describes Whitney, the protagonist in Christine Son’s Off the Menu.  Whitney works at a law firm by day, but harbors a desire to succeed as a singer.  Whitney and her friends Hercules and Audrey are something of a “Joy Luck Club” for a younger generation.  I’ll be reviewing Off the Menu as part of Christine Son’s TLC Book Tour this Friday.
