I can only stand so much holiday cheer, and I think this is a great remedy. (Besides, I’d like to steal a few of these letters and send them to certain bratty, ungrateful little cousins of mine!)

Anna – there are (many) times when I can be (very) biting and sarcastic … this just wasn’t funny to me, constantly beating the kids down (verbally).

Kathy – maybe if I had just thumbed thru some random pages in a group (’round the dinner table, like Wendi did), I would have found more humor in it (?)

Shana – I responded to an ad for ARCs on Shelf-Awareness. The ad didn’t mention “reindeer butts;” I probably would have stayed away if I knew that was the basis of the humor.

Carrie – yes, the author/editor/publisher thought it was funny … just not for me

Lenore – we have a few small seasonal books that get pulled out with the decorations each year (I just have to keep this one away from the kids!)

Well, I hadn’t heard of that. It sounds like a book that I, too, would enjoy the premise of. However, it also sounds like something that could get old if not extremely well done!

Ha! I think that 97% is a little conservative. More like 99%, if you ask me. So, was this a review copy, Dawn, or just one you picked up on your own?
