Today’s question from Wendi’s Book Corner: Have you ever looked at the Common Knowledge page, or viewed the history of changes/additions? If you were aware of this section, have you added any information? Do you find this information useful or interesting?
My Answer: I do have a column in “my library” display to show “CK: Awards and Honors”. I think it’s interesting to look at, but I don’t make my reading decisions based on those awards and honors.
Some of the other CK categories are fun too – first words, last words, series information, quotations …
I’ve never added to the CK database, and I hadn’t checked out the history until you posted the question today.
Thanks for asking, and for hosting, Wendi!
Does anyone else use CK in your Library listing? which category?

I’d never looked at CK until yesterday. I hope to spend some more time on it, and maybe even add a few tid-bits.
I love the first and last words parts. I think it can actually give you a good idea of the tone of the book. I haven’t really looked at the awards yet.
Thanks for participating in Tuesday Thingers last week Lenore! I’ve got this week’s posted now.
Take care, Wendi
Sorry Dawn! I know you aren’t Lenore!! I’m too tired to be leaving comments tonight (up too late playing Rock Band with my niece, then up too early with my son who refuses to sleep in!)
