  • Boy does that bring back memories! Those are precious days, but I’m sure you know that. Thanks for sharing with us.

:-) what a good morning you had =)

  • Ok, you have an Ikea next to you. I’m jealous :) I love little things like that written by kids. They’re so honest and present minded.

    Thanks for sharing with BPOTW!

My daughter is doing the 100′s collection right now too. Whenever I see what is done in class, I am even more convinced that teachers do not get paid nearly enough for what they do. Looks like everyone had fun!

  • What a wonderful, wonderful day! Thanks for sharing.

My kiddo is in 1st grade this year. He’s struggling with his reading but we’re working at it – I’m sure he’ll get better soon.

  • Thank you so much for sharing those pictures….warms my heart!

  • What a sweet post! I found it on BPOTW. :) Thanks for sharing. A picture truly is worth 1000 words!

  • Kathy – I’m glad I put it on the blog, so I can look back at it when we’re having a tough day.

Nicole – Yes! and J showing up was a nice surprise. We didn’t think his schedule would allow it.

Vicki – and thank you for hosting BPOTW!

Ti – no kidding, our teachers rock! I wish I had their energy and patience. Monday 2/23 is the 100th day of school in our district.

Heather – LW6 was so frustrated that it wasn’t clicking for her, but she has turned the corner. I think that reading to them, modeling by reading, having books around, etc. … all that is setting the right environment.

    J. Kaye – I’m glad you enjoyed it.

Melissa – I’ve checked out your blog; your pics are worth 100,000 words; what beautiful photography!
