A few weeks back I reviewed Kirk Curnutt’s novel Breathing Out the Ghost, a is a very thoughtfully written account which examines how various people cope with every parent’s worst nightmare – that their child is missing … or even murdered.
Kirk offered to send copies of his novel to three readers of She is Too Fond of Books (thanks, Kirk!!). Without further ado, I give you:
- #29 Christina
- #20 Becky
- #12 Sheila
Congratulations to the winners! Please send me your mailing address, and I’ll pass them along to Kirk.

Congratulations to the winners! Speaking of Kirk Curnutt, I’ve heard there’s a benefit in Auburn this weekend to save The Gnu’s Room – one of the bookstores he mentioned in his guest post.
Congrats to the winners…this is a great book!
Kathy – I forwarded your note to Kirk; thanks for the info!
Serena – He wrote about a difficult subject with great sensitivity and realism!
