#1 – Sallie -When I think of Ireland right now I think of our grandson who is spending a while working on an eco-farm there.

Next and always, I think of hoping I have time to go there sometime. I am intrigued by many comments I’ve read and pictures I’ve seen that the country reminds people of the Oregon Coast. I’d like to see for myself.

#6 – booklogged – At the very first mention of Ireland I thing, “Green.” Then other thoughts begin to enter – Celtic, Gaelic, harps, pubs, blarney stone, wonderful accents and the distinctive music.

When I think of Ireland, I definitely think of gorgeous, open expanses of green land! And, if I’m really daydreaming, maybe visualizing an ancestor or two walking around.

When I think of Ireland I think of green hills and Nora Roberts! Nora wrote quite a few books with Ireland as it’s setting. Love Ireland through her books.

The first word that comes to mind is “home.” I’ve never been to Ireland, but am Irish by heritage, and I get homesick for it. Weird, I know.
