Thanks so much for all your lovely comments. You are all so sweet.
The book has been unavailable (even to me) lately because the 1st print run sold out. 2nd run now done and it is back in stock. Yipee!
It’s so funny that you don’t know the word ‘fusspot’!! That made me grin.

Nicole – I’ve read a few “linked short stories” or “novel in stories” that I really liked (OLIVE KITTERIDGE and MONTHS & SEASONS), that’s what prompted me to ask Nuala this question. I was pleasantly surprised when Magda popped up in a second story!

I enjoyed this interview, particularly the open endedness of your questions, eg. “is there anything else you’d like to share…” I’ve been following this tour around the virtual globe and every stop brings something new, but for each new little bit of Nuala’s writing that is revealed, I find myself hungry for more.

That was really a wonderful interview…great questions! You can tell from her answers that she is a woman with alot of grace. I’m not a big reader of short stories, even though I have fallen in love with some. You have generated my interest!

I often have trouble with short stories (cause I always want more), but this excellent interview has gotten my interest. I’ll have to check out some of the online links when I have a chance. Hopefully the character will come to you again. I love reading about different characters in other books or at different stages of their lives. It’s like getting to know them better and often like running into an old friend.

Great interview Dawn! I will have to check out some of the stories online.
