Giveaway: set of custom stickers (labels)

sticker_upShe is Too Fond of Books has entered into a blog sponsorship partnership (lots of ships on our sea!) with UPrinting.com.  This means that, from time to time, I’ll be able to offer giveaways of their custom printed products to readers of my blog.  I’ll also receive products for review and will have a sidebar link/advertisement to their site.

I think many of the UPrinting.com products could be useful to book lovers; we love our paper products, don’t we?!  They offer labels (think of custom “ex libris” plates), cards (think of custom bookmarks!), letterhead, notecards, calendars, etc., so it seems like a good fit for my blog readership.

To reward one lucky reader for reading through my “introduction to blog sponsorship” post, we have a set of 250 custom labels to offer.  Here are the details:

  • 250 Stickers/Labels for One (1) lucky winner
  • Sizes:2” x 3.5”, 2” x 4”, or 3” x 3”
  • Paper:70 lb Label Matte
  • Specifications: Full color front, blank back
  • 4 Business Day printing
  • FREE UPS Ground Shipping in the USA

To enter the giveaway, simply leave a comment below indicating how you’d use the stickers. I’ll be receiving 250 Stickers/Labels from UPrinting.com for co-hosting this giveaway, and I’m thinking of 2″ x 4″ labels with my logo and return address for packages … but the possibilities are endless!

Giveaway is restricted to US mailing addresses and will be open until midnight EST on October 23, 2009.  One winner will be drawn randomly; check back on 10/24 to see who it is!

Update 10/24/09: The winner, by random drawing, is:

  • I’d use them to print labels for mailing my swap books. Or making my own address labels.

Goodness! I put my sales rep labels on all my catalogs, so my booksellers and buyers can remember which publisher I sell. I use LOTS ‘o LABELS!! I also have nearly run out of my own shipping labels with my return address on them. I ship out galleys or my son’s Amazaon sales (he has his own “business” seller account recycling his old video games, and video gear on-line!) We are a label loving family.

  • I’m pretty dull – I think I’d just choose return address labels.

  • I think I’d go with custom-made Ex Libris stickers. I am constantly loaning books to my good friends (so I can be sure I’ll get them back), but I think sometimes said friends forget whose book they borrowed, and Ex Libris labels would really help that. Also, they’d be pretty. And I love the tradition surrounding them and the idea of building one’s personal library.

My gosh, so many uses! I would use them to label my baked goods at Christmas, when I give them as gifts. I would also love to make labels for my favorite books and my sons’ favorite books. My husband loves to label everything, he would probable go nuts!!

  • I was thinking return address labels — I know, boooooorrrrrrrring.

  • The possibilities are endless for something like this. I think I would want to have 250 labels that say WTF? for placement around my home, school, well anywhere really. They could be placed on books that were convulted or confusing, students’ papers which make no sense, the foreheads of people who do ridiculous things, public signage that doesn’t use proper grammar,…… I could keep going.

  • Love #7′s ideas, but I’d like to have them for labeling books around the library with a “Recommended By…” type sticker. Kids like to read books recommended by other students.

  • Oh, these would be great to stick inside the covers of books I am going to lend out! Please enter me in this giveaway, I’d love a chance to win, and thanks for hosting this giveaway!

  • I’d either make ex libris plates or address labels.

  • Looks like you’ve joined the UPrinting gang too. No need to enter me.

Hmmm.. I love labels and trying to stay organized, perhaps fun labels for file cabinet folders. . .

  • cheryl parker

I would use them when I send care packages to my sons; one is in the Marines and the other is away at college.

  • karen k

I could use new address labels…please count me in…thanks.

I think I would use them for when my boyfriend leaves for the Navy and the only contact we have is letters. I absolutely love school supplies, so I may just use the labels for random stuff. I tend to do that a lot :D

  • If I won, I would make diaper stickers for when diapers are changed at church. They would say something like, “This diaper was changed with love at ______ by ______” and my church logo and name.

  • Linda Hall

They would travel the state of California stuck to an envelope – I hope
