Great review! I am really very interested in this book and think it sounds like a great read. The story sounds very intriguing and this book is definitely going on my list and hopefully it will find it’s way under my tree this year!

I am reading this novel right now and am about 500 pages in. I agree with you about the language she uses. I especially loved everything so far about the birds.

I loved this one…I think it’s my favorite of Shortridge’s books. I read it in one sitting yesterday (well, with one break for dinner).
