I loved Coastside Books when I went up to Half Moon Bay a few months ago. I live in the South Bay, so I can’t make it up there as often as I wish, but it is cozy and with a fantastic collection (I love the staff recommendations).

I’m the same as well. I will carry armloads of things throughout the store…I’m terrible. Probably why I’m not allowed near bookstores too often.

Wow, this is awesome. I live in the South Bay so Half Moon Bay is just up the highway. Next time I’m there I will definitely check Coastside out! Thanks so much for bringing attention to an independent bookseller…I try to do the same on my blog, when I travel.

I’m exactly the same way in a bookstore. I recently went in one to buy ONE book and ended up spending $122. Of course, Vance was with me, and he added two books to the stack I was buying. I love a great indie bookstore.
