My mother-in-law and her mother were full blooded Italian, and they cooked a little different than my grandmother did-who is not Italian- and who was also in the depression era. I love Clara's recipes, and realize that if we all ate this way, there would be no child-hood obesity or adult cholesterol problems. She is a blessing, and so charming. I love Clara.
