Weekend Cooking: Top o' the morning to you!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Those sneaky leprechauns were here last night, rummaging around for some gold (but being satisfied with shiny pennies), and leaving this “magically delicious” treat for us.
For other kitchen stories – recipes, cookbook reviews, discussion of food-themed movies, etc., turn to Beth Fish Reads’ Weekend Cooking.

We don’t celebrate St. Patrick’s Day here but what a cute idea!
Cute post! I remember fighting with my brothers over the particular marshmallows in this cereal — even though they all tasted the same, we liked the same colors, lol.
Mom was never pleased when we asked for this cereal as we inevitably left most of the cereal in the bowl, having picked out the marshmallows for consumption
Ha!!!!!! Perfect for the day. Love it.
You sure know how to celebrate!
LOL – these used to be my daughter’s favorite ceral. I love it and will have to send the link to her.
Very cute! Love the green milk!
Now that’s a celebration! Love the green milk, too.
What a great idea and so simple! This will be our breakfast next St. Patrick’s Day.
So cute- love the green milk!
Green milk?!?
My mom and I made green eggs and ham (and green grits) for my dad one year for his St Paddy’s day birthday breakfast (his name was Sam…which might help to explain things). The green eggs looked revolting. Lcky Charms is a MUCH better idea.
We used to fight over the Lucky Charms marshmallows too! Now I only buy the Mother’s brand of this cereal-it’s a wee bit healthier but my kids like it.
Happy St Patrick’s Day to you too, Dawn! I like the green milk too. We have Lucky Charms for our kids too. We’re having Irish Stew tonight, to celebrate
I hate to tell you, but that is not really Irish! lol
This made me laugh and brought to mind a tv commercial from my childhood–”They’re magically delicious!”
*smiles*
Love the green milk
I could eat the whole box of those Lucky Charms!
We had traditional corned beef and cabbage with potatoes and Carrots here…It was delicious, plus I had my mint green milkshake from McDonald’s earlier in the day…now where is the Guinness!
Not so sure about the green milk!
Looks like a fun breakfast though.
Fun! We tried colcannon last night and deemed it magically delicious!
hahaha! Omgosh you’re so cute. ^_^
We are having corned beef, cabbage, potatoes and biscuits for dinner tonight because it’ll be the first night in several that ALL of us will be home for dinner at the same time! Gah!
That was the Official St. Patrick’s Day Meal at our house too. It still is–my husband keeps forgetting he bought them and hasn’t eaten them yet. (We don’t let the kids eat those!)
Green milk totally rocks the casbah. I wish that I had thought of that!
What a cute idea. And I have to admit that I love Lucky Charms, even though we never buy them.
