Hi Taylor!!! You know what Dawn, his description of this book kinda reminds me of that used bookstore that you, Marie and I went to in Boston. Or the one I went to with Molly Bumble that next day. You almost can't go looking for something specific, you have to let the books find you.

Oh, so excited to see Taylor here today! He's a great guy, and his book is just fantastic! I love his story about finding the perfect book at Cellar Stories. It sounds just like reading kismet, you know? Awesome post today, Dawn!

I've read a few of his books (but not this one). He is very fun and accessible with a lovely easy writing style that I enjoyed.

It sounds fun! The cover looks like a science fiction book, though, with those towers.

Trillin's book, About Alice, is a lovely tribute to his late wife Alice. It paints a true portrait of her, and the love and life they shared, and is one of my favorite books. You should read it if you haven't yet. I just finished Quite Enough of Calvin Trillin, which is a compilation of forty years of his columns. I didn't like that as much.
