Winner of *My Name is Mary Sutter*
Lots of people want to read My Name is Mary Sutter, Robin Oliveira’s novel about a young midwife’s struggle to become a doctor. Thanks to the generosity of the publisher, and with a little luck from random.org, the winner is:
- #19 – Beth Nolan Conners – Well — of course I love historical fiction and the Civil War era in particular — but I think I can often forget that women (and others) have struggled to be at the place they are today and take for granted things like women being doctors. So I’d like to read this!
Well, Beth, now you’ll get the chance! Send me your mailing address, and Penguin Viking will get the book in the mail to you … enjoy!
Not a winner? You’re still in luck … the book is available in stores (and perhaps in your library) now.
